In this series of performances and accompanying text distributed through digitally printed fliers, I question the differences between language and speech. I assert that the failure of protest speech to “do what it says it does” opens up new spaces of connection between the communities it gathers. In the performance series, I contend with the overwhelming grief and isolation of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic by finding portals into other worlds in the mundane spaces of my life.
